Beautiful interior- really stunning. Great pub if you're a beer/ale drinker but don't bother if you like draft lager - I've never had a good pint here - sorry!
Very friendly and helpful pub, lovely atmosphere and approachable staff. Not too noisy, and they are dog friendly.
Love this pub it's cozy and with a fire on , staff are so nice and friendly , call in for a drink you won't be disappointed, if you drink real ale this is the place again staff informative about ales and will let you try them , thank you make a good afternoon out a great afternoon
The best pub in Sunderland without a doubt. The pub has a very homely, traditional feel with some of the best chairs in any pub. All members of staff are extremely friendly and know a lot about what they are selling. They can answer all your questions about what you are drinking and offer excellent recommendations. Their choice of beers, ales and ciders is the best in Sunderland with a wide variety that changes to keep you trying new things. Each drink on offer has been sampled by staff before going on sale so they know what they have. Brilliant for day and night drinking
