Well made, locally (Morpeth) roasted coffee. Friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Next to the sea on the lower promenade. Half a dozen indoor tables and more outside - even in January for you proper northerners. Dogs welcome in and out. Highly recommended
Nice quiet spot to have coffee great views of the sea
Lovely coffee house to visit. Coffee is delicious as are the pastries and cakes. Ideally situated right on sea front, enabling wonderful views to enjoy whilst drinking you coffee. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I will certainly be going again; even though it is a drive from Durham, it is worth it.
I called into the Hideout yesterday morning and what a treat, fresh ground americano, strong just the way I love it. What a perfect setting and as luck had it I had my drone, If you want a delightful coffee, panini, cake which looked fab or a scone and tea call in. Hayley and Janet are so friendly and they have snack for your dog and a water outside. fabulous. See you again soon with Millie
