Wonderful venue for theatre. Recently refurbished bar which is lovely.Always a great range of shows to see throughout the year and each year the schedule gets better and better.If your looking for a good view with low prices the upper circle is great although up a number of stairs lol
Bright and airy foyer. Pleasant and friendly staff. Drinks prices pretty ridiculous.
A couple of things my seat was behind a massive pole... Couldn't really see anything because of it. Yes I got cheaper tickets, not the cheapest there was but yeah that was taking the biscuit. Also the drink prices are mad expensive like 17 for two! More than any arena I have been to. The place itself was amazing though the stage was awesome!
Went with my baby daughter Hayley her treat we saw the Panto Peter Pan a wonderful warm hearted show everyone worked their socks off to entertain us. Loved it well done all of you . The Empire Theatre is magnificent long may it continue to be a top class theatre
This is a first class venue for the North East of England. Wherever you are sat, you not only have a clear view of the stage but also of the ornate architecture. On my most recent visit though I was disappointed to see that the original bar has been made into a sort of VIP area so if you were planning on seeing this you'll have to pay extra.
