Absolutely awful and rude staff. Seriously avoid this post office and go to smaller ones which won't overcharge you. Overcharged me on three different items and when I asked her to change it she was rude and called her manager over, had no common sense and the management wasn't much better. When I asked for the item back she started to rip the stickers off the packaging which was tearing them open. Ended up just sending the items as I didn't want to have to repackage them all. Absolutely awful customer service. Wanted my items to "glide" through the template when I have proof from royal mail themselves that you can help an item through with your fingertips and pull it through yourself.
I send around 1000 parcels a month! Never ever had an issueinany post office apart from this...
Great and efficient service
Waited for half hour at Friday 4:30pm just to be served at 4:58pm... the old ladies were totally not impressed and saying how "our younger generation are contented with this kind of service where this service wasn't any service at all back in the days!" There was only 1 counter open for counter services ; and 2 counters for travel where there wasn't any queues for travel at all; and there are massive queues for the counter services. The one and only Counter services shut down at 4:40 and started doing their "after" job and it wasn't until the older ladies were complaining they then switched the 2 travel counter to counter services. All-in-all, not impressed. Missed my train back to Newcastle sadly and had to repurchase a new ticket.
