Dark, dingy and dirty with cobwebs hanging over your head, had a window seat but again window and blinds have never been cleaned. The food was average but the service was too quick for it to have been cooked freshly. Waiters stood at the kitchen talking quite loudly in Italian and joking on. Nothing good to say about it, wish we went with our guts and turned round when we walked in and it smells like a sewer.

One of the best Italians in Sunderland, I have been going here for years. The waiters are fantastic, super attentive and friendly. There is always a buzz in the restaurant too, so be prepared for some loud cackles! :) I have knocked off one star as the pizzas don't seem to be as good as they used to. Sometimes the base is quite tough and they can be easy to cut. I hope that Luciano's see this review and review their once amazing pizzas!
Very welcoming staff. We were seated fairly quickly with our first drink. There was eight of us and everyone's food was served at the same time and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The atmosphere was lovely for a lunchtime. I would recommend the restaurant to my friends
