This is a bit of a tired old place now, maybe the weather didnt help when I was there but it seems to have lost something. There was lots of cars in the carpark yet it seemed empty inside. Its a shame really as there is few attractions in Sunderland.

The races were enjoyable, good laugh with the bets, but the carvery was pitiful, for the amount we paid i expected a lot more than 2 slices of turkey (thin slices) and 2 measly pigs in blankets! I was very shocked considering it was meant to be a Christmas dinner, the cheesecake tasted like it came from Iceland, thanks but i'll say no next time probably
Absolutely terrific food. Great night entertainment - one of the only places you can cover the cost of the meal with the entertainment - if you're lucky!!
