After a recommendation from our Mortgage advisor, Mortons worked on the purchase of our first home for us. We've found the team (mainly we've dealt with Diane Spurs) to be helpful and efficient throughout the purchase and are very grateful for their hard work and patience. If you're looking for a Solicitor for a home purchase I would definitely recommend Mortons
Very poor service. Made to feel like we are a hindrance rather than the paying customer that we are! At a stage where we might lose our house and our solicitor isn't going to act on information sent over the weekend until tomorrow. Definitely would not recommend.
Communication very poor and several calls went un returned. Did combat ancient for my house sale. Very reactive and seemed uninterested with no urgency. Missed the point that I was a client completely and did everything in their own timescale. Fee was just above average.
I have used Morton's in High Street in the past, for both my mother's and my own affairs. They proved to be thorough, quick and efficient. The staff are pleasant and helpful, and solutions are tailor-made to fit the client. Having had negative experiences with slow and expensive conveyancing and will-writing with three solicitors in the south east, I now appreciate Morton's even more!
