Save yourself the hassle and buy elsewhere - I'll explain why. This is a dealership that warned me and my partner away from dealing with independent retailers. Gave me absolute confidence that the car was prepared to the highest standard possible. Overlooking the 4 hour wait in the dealership the car is really poorly prepared. The paintwork clear coat is in terrible condition and no attempt has been made to prepare to an acceptable standard. Not only that, there is 3 Pirelli's and 1 Cheap budget tyre on the rear axle. A ditch finder special. I've since complained to the dealer and Jaguar. Generally a dismissive attitude to the complain with little resolution offered. Lots of suggestions relating to the age of the car? Apparently when a high powered RWD car reaches a certain age it suddenly becomes appropriate to fit 2 different tyres across the same drive axle. Dealership keeps refusing to "respray" the car which highlights the total lack of understanding of the damage. It needs a proper detail preparation, which most dealers would do, not a respray?. A gesture was made to rectify which doesn't even cover the replacement tyre. In the meantime the dealership has decided the car wasn't "Approved used" as a result Jaguar have washed their hands of it- as you can see by the picture the car was clearly sold as "APPROVED". Supposed to be a Franchised dealer with high standards - couldn't be further from that. I've since been told we should have inspected the car thoroughly after our 4 hour journey - How foolish of me to trust Statstone. I thought we were buying a car which I had been promised we would be delighted with rather than a used motor from Bob from down the road. I've even been quoted "SOLD AS SEEN"! Will be going back to BMW or Mercedes where the customer service existed, at least. Back alley dodgy dealing from a franchised dealer. Do yourself a favour and buy elsewhere.
Very poor.Have driven over twice to showroom and both times have been told salesman 's day off. Asked to see someone else and told there is no one. Details taken and over week still no call from Stephen. Have bought 3 cars but with my cousin who is male!!!Tried to email on website but nothing goes through. Why???
Read other reviews and I am wondering if its the same place? I bought a car here and I cant reccomend them enough. The receptionists were always friendly and helpful and Craig made buying a car a pleasure. Craig could not do enough to help and everything he said he would do he did. He went above and beyond and even collected me from the train station. I travelled from Cornwall to buy a car and I would again from Craig without hesitation. The whole experience was easy and pain free and Craig was exceptional.
I visited the showroom, at Doxford Park, after doing a bit of research and looking to buy a used car, 3 to 4 years old. I'd looked 'on line' and knew what was there. After arriving i was surprised that not a single sales person approached me, despite seeing me. What also surprised me was that potential customers who arrived after me were 'approached'. I do have to admit that i wasn't dressed particularly smart, not as smart as the customers who arrived after me anyway. But i did have money to spend! I love my 65 plate C Class Sport Estate that i bought from Mercedes Sunderland. Only 17000 miles on the clock!! Wake up Stratstone!!!!
